Jamie Lynn Marie Spears was born April 4, 1991 in McComb, Mississippi. Her sister Britney rose to pop fame in 1998. Britney's fame slowly brought Jamie Lynn into the spotlight. In 2001, Jamie Lynn appeared in Total Britney Live. In 2002, she appeared in a Pepsi commercial. That year she also played a younger version of her sister's character in the movie "Crossroads."

Spears joined the cast of Nickelodeon's comedy "All That." She portrayed several different characters during her two seasons on the show. One of her more recognizable characters was an 84-year-old bodyguard named Thelma Stump. In 2005, after her "All That" stint came to an end, she starred in "Zooey 101." She starred as Zooey Brooks in her most recognizable role. She even sang the theme song for the show, "Follow Me."

In Dec. 2007, the news came that a 16-year-old Jamie Lynn was pregnant and planned to have and raise her baby in Louisiana. The father was Casey Aldridge, Spears' longtime boyfriend, who was then 18. Questions about the pair's age difference came up, and some thought that Aldridge could be charged with statutory rape. California laws stated that Aldridge would only be in trouble if there was a three-year age difference.

In Feb. 2008, a pregnant Spears received her GED. In March, she and Aldridge got engaged. She gave birth on June 19, 2008 to a daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridge. OK! magazine reportedly paid $1 million for the first baby pictures of the child. Aldridge and Spears reportedly plan to tie the knot later this year.
