Solange Knowles has been spotted sporting a new edgier 'do. The younger sister of R&B songstress Beyonce has cropped her long locks to an almost bald look.

Solange Knowles hates the way she looks when she sings. The 23-year-old singer - sister of "Halo" star Beyonce - stopped halfway through her performance at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans last weekend and demanded a paparazzo stop taking photos of her.

Solange Knowles was rushed to hospital after overdosing on cough medicine. The 22-year-old singer - who is the younger sister of Beyonce - collapsed at an airport in the early hours of Wednesday morning after accidentally taking too much of over-the-counter drug NyQuil during a flight.
