Sara Cox Doing Well After Birth

Sara Cox is "doing very well" after giving birth to her son.

The Radio 1 DJ is thrilled after delivering a healthy 7lbs 12ozs baby boy, who she has called Isaac, on Monday. This is Sara's first child with her advertising executive partner Ben Cyzer.

Sara's representative told BANG Showbiz: "Mother, baby and father Ben are doing very well."

The 33-year-old star revealed she was pregnant on her radio show last September.

She said of the impending birth: "Me and my lovely other half, Ben, are completely over the moon and feel incredibly blessed."

Sara already has a three-year-old daughter, Lola, with her estranged husband, DJ Jon Carter.

The presenter recently revealed she was enjoying her second pregnancy and was craving sweet puddings.

She said: "Food is the best - bread and butter pudding!"

"People seem to trust you more when you're pregnant. I think they see you as some kind of Mother Earth figure."

The presenter also said her priorities have changed since she became a mother.

Sara said: "The most important thing in my life is my little family now. Work comes second. It's nice to go to work and not be mummy - reclaim your identity. If I didn't work, I would go a bit stir crazy."

"I relish both roles and I think I am good at them."
