"Harry Potter" Stars Daniel Radcliffe And Rupert Grint Got So Drunk They Couldn't Remember The Title Of Their Film

June 25, 2009

Daniel Radcliffe got so drunk he couldn't remember the name of his own film. The 19-year-old actor and his "Harry Potter" co-star Rupert Grint came up blank when a pub trivia machine asked them, "Complete the title of this movie - 'Harry Potter and the Order Of The...'"

As onlookers watched in amazement, the pair - who play Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in the films - clutched their heads as they racked their brains for the correct answer, Phoenix, before giving up and dissolving into giggles.

A fellow drinker told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "When the Harry Potter question came up, nobody helped them because we assumed they were joking. But they lost, all because they couldn't complete the title of their own film. They both looked really embarrassed but then saw the funny side."

"It was a really magic moment. They were laughing so much they couldn't get the answer in time. You could tell they were having a good drink and enjoying themselves. They had everyone in the pub in fits of laughter!"

Daniel and Rupert, 20, have been regulars at the drinking establishment in Lincoln, U.K., since filming began on the seventh movie in the boy wizard series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."
