New York, NY (CNS) -- Angelina Jolie, on the Today show to promote her new film "Changeling," revealed plans to adopt another child. Speaking in an interview with Matt Lauer, she did not give an exact time frame as to when she'll adopt. But most importantly, she did not give any information about where she is planning to adopt.
When asked by Lauer about how soon she is planning to adopt another child, the 33-year-old actress said, "It depends. You can't adopt, you can't even start the process until any new children are 6 months old to understand how the new family has settled to see what you can absorb into your new family. I think that's a smart thing anyway to understand when it's the right time to bring another child in."
Jolie also spoke about the dynamic at home and the kids' reactions when her and husband Brad Pitt bring home additions to the clan. "They're are not really stunned anymore when kids come home. We prepared them, we talked to them about it, and they're just at that great age where they don't feel threatened. They enjoy the kids, they change their diapers, they play with them," she said.
Jolie currently has six kids, including three adopted children and three of her own. She recently gave birth to twins who are currently three-and-a-half months old. Her new film "Changeling," directed by Clint Eastwood, opens in select theaters on October 24th.
