Britney Spears is bikini-clad once again for a new MTV promo in which she co-stars with Russell Brand for the upcoming Video Music Awards. After last year's successful string of flirty ads featuring the pop singer, the potty-mouthed comedian, and a huge elephant in the room, Brand is this time using telepathy to try to bag Britney.
In the promo, we hear Britney and Russell Brand's thoughts as she wonders if he'll personally invite her to the VMA's. "I wonder if he'll invite me? Should I have played it up while he was flirting with me? I have to admit, there's something sexy about his dangerous ways," she says in a voice-over while hanging poolside in a white bikini.
Brand, who realizes he can hear Spears' voice and that she can hear his, tries to mess with a confused-looking Spears in order to sleep with her. "Go to Russell's hotel room and abandon yourself," he says in the clip. "Sleep with Russell!"
Brand hosts the VMA's for the second year in a row. Spears appeared last year and also took home 3 awards, including Video of the Year. The 2009 Video Music Awards, which so far has no confirmation of a Spears appearance, airs September 13th.
