David Letterman's $2 million extortion scandal is worth much less, according to a new report. Inside sources told Stoparazzi President Terry Ahern that the "Late Show" host's sexual relationship with some of his staff members was only worth a few thousands to tabloids.
Ahern said the seller of the information would have to turn over documents and other evidence to prove that the story was true. One of Letterman's alleged partners would also have to go on record to strengthen the story.
The story would only be worth around $5 to 10 thousand to tabloids.
Meanwhile, "Fire David Letterman" rally participant John Ziegler is making himself available to discuss Letterman's current extortion scandal and past sexist behavior. The late night show host's admission to he had affairs with some female member of his staff allegedly re-opened discussion on his "sexist" behavior.
Suspect CBS News producer Robert Halderman has pleaded not guilty to the extortion charge.
