Naomi Campbell is no role model.

No really, she said herself she doesn't want to called one.

She recently told Interview magazine that she's made many mistakes - which the public is aware of because she is famous - and she doesn't even like to sound like a role model sometimes.

"I'm not a perfect human being. I have to learn from my mistakes. And…I always get nervous when people speak about something that sounds like a role model, because I don't know if I've been a great role model myself. I don't think I have in certain aspects of my life . . . But I'm trying to do better."

Most recently, the supermodel faced scrutiny after allegedly accepting a blood diamond gift. Before this, she was brought to court and plead guilty when her maid sued her for assault. But the supermodel said she doesn't let negative press affect her.

"I don't get depressed. When I feel an attack, I withdraw. I disappear, I replenish, and then I come back," she told Interview. "I'm not going to wallow in self-pity and not live my life. There are always going to be some falls in life for everybody, no matter what career you have. You have to roll with the punches and keep going."

Her positive outlook is no doubt something she learned after being in the modeling industry for 25 years. Campbell even told Vogue.com that she felt healthier at 40 years old than when she started out in the industry. She celebrated 25 years of her modeling career at Dolce & Gabbana's Bond Street store during London Fashion Week.

"My whole diet is different," she said. "I feel that my thoughts are clearer now."
