Natalie Portman, the current face of Dior, is "disgusted" by fashion designer John Galliano after the Dior chief was arrested and accused of making anti-Semitic comments. The Jewish actress, who just won Best Actress at the Oscar Awards Sunday, refuses to be associated with Galliano in any way.

Galliano was arrested last week after allegedly marking racist remarks against clients in a café in Paris. A separate incident was recorded in a video, wherein he is shown saying, "I love Hitler," and telling two people that they "should have been gassed."

Portman, being the high fashion label's endorser for its Miss Dior Cherie perfume, was expected to wear a Dior at the Academy Awards, but settled for a purple Rodarte gown instead.

The actress said that she wishes to be disassociated with the flamboyant designer, saying in a statement: "I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way."

"I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."
