Gisele Bundchen Passes First Part Of Her Helicopter Flying Exams

November 3, 2009

Gisele Bundchen has passed the first part of her helicopter flying exams. The 29-year-old supermodel - who is due to give birth to her first child, a daughter, with her American football player husband Tom Brady next month - is trying to squeeze as much air time as possible before her baby bump grows too big to fit in the cockpit.

Her teacher, Keith Douglass, said: "Gisele hasn't finished her license yet, but she did pass her written exam."

"She has been doing an excellent job. But she's almost to a point where she's too big to be flying."

The Brazilian beauty first started taking classes at the Shoreline Aviation company in Marshfield, near Boston, in the summer.

Company president Keith has always praised Gisele's flying ability.

He previously said: "She's gung ho about learning to fly. She's one of the best students we've ever had. She's excellent at learning and understanding what makes the helicopters fly. She knows all the rules and regulations. She's fantastic at flying the helicopter. She is very smooth and professional and she listens."
