Reports from Down Under are that one of Heath Ledger's estranged uncles is claiming the late actor may have fathered a love child when he was a teenager. The uncle claims Ledger was 17-years-old and dating a 25-year-old woman who became pregnant and later gave birth to a baby girl, even though she was living with another man at the time.
The reports about a love child surfaced in Australia's Daily Telegraph with the estranged uncle claiming "a very real possibility that Heath was the father."
The actor, 28, died in January following an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. He has a daughter, Matilda, with actress Michelle Williams.
Ledger's will was written before Matilda was born and left his entire estate to his parents and three sisters. His father has promised that the 2-year-old Matilda will be taken care of, but this statement has apparently ignited a long-standing family feud between Ledger's father and uncles. The uncles claim Ledger's father, Kim, is unable to handle the late actor's estate, due to a 15-year-old battle in which Kim was the executor of their grandfather's estate and the estate plunged into debt.
