Hindus Urge Angelina Jolie To Take Up Cause Of Roma People

Angelina Jolie is being urged to take up the cause of apartheid of European Roma. Hindus says the actress, known for her humanitarian efforts, would be effective in the campaign.

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed expressed in a statement that Hindus want the 34-year-old Academy Award winner to take up the cause to help the 15 million Roma people of Europe because she would be very effective for the role.

Roma people reportedly regularly face social exclusion, racism, unemployment, substandard education, rights violation, discrimination and more.

Zed said that if Jolie, who continues to promote humanitarian causes all over the world, decided to undertake the worthwhile cause and wanted his services regarding in the matter, he is willing to support her.

He added that he hopes the UN Goodwill Ambassador would listen and not stay apathetic to the Roma people's welfare.
