Former supermodel Iman claims she had resisted her husband David Bowie's charms when they first met as she didn't want to be associated with a rock star. Iman, 52, says she had rejected the musician's flirting attempts because she's just "not that girl." She has been quoted by breakingnews.ie as saying, "It took me a while, because, you know, he's a rock star and you've got to be careful with rock stars." "I was a huge fan though. I would go to his concerts and there were invitations to see him backstage, but I didn't do that. I'm not that girl." The Somali-American catwalk beauty and Bowie married in 1992. It was a second marriage for both. |
