Jonny Lee Miller And Michele Hicks Expecting First Child

The 'Eli Stone' actor and 'The Shield' star - who married in July - celebrated the news with a baby shower with friends and family in Los Angeles at the weekend.

A representative for Jonny, 35, has confirmed Michele, also 35, is expecting and insists the pair are "thrilled". Michelle - who has also appeared in several other hit US shows including 'Law and Order and 'CSI' - is believed to be around seven months pregnant.

British-born Jonny - who was previously married to Angelina Jolie for three years - stars as a lawyer who is believed to be a prophet in 'Eli Stone', while Hicks plays the troubled wife of crooked detective Shane Vendrell in the cop drama.

Jonny can next be seen alongside William Hurt in British film 'Endgame' which depicts the final days of Apartheid, the legal racial segregation introduced by South Africa's National Party. The film is due for release in 2009.
