Black Eyed Peas announce they're taking a break

Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - The Black Eyed Peas are taking a well-deserved break. After their comeback yielded a string of #1 hits and sold-out tours, the group says they're going on hiatus.

At a recent performance in England, the group confirmed the rumors that fans will soon be seeing much less of the Peas.

"We're going to be taking a break just like we did after we released Monkey Business in 2005 until we came back in 2009," Fergie said

Fergie assured fans that it's not the E.N.D. for the multi-platinum group. "This isn't going to be the last time you'll see us," she added. confirmed the news via Twitter following a show at Alton Towers. "The @Bep will take a break after the beginning...just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d...but it doesn't mean we stop creating," he wrote.

When the Black Eyed Peas returned in 2009, they came back with a new sound and scored hit after hit, including "Boom Boom Pow," "I Gotta Feeling," and "Imma Be," as well as the hit follow-up, "The Beginning," which included smash singles "The Time (Dirty Bit)" and "Just Can't Get Enough."
