Jason DeRulo Scores Billboard Hot 100 #1 With Debut Single

Jason DeRulo scores his first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with his debut track, "Whatcha Say." The song, which samples Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek," moves up to #1 from #2 last week on the strength of its radio play and digital sales. The single is the first from his upcoming debut album, which is slated to be released in the first quarter of 2010.

Michael Jackson Earns #1 Album On Billboard With

Michael Jackson leads the pack of new releases in this week's Billboard 200 Albums chart, coming in at #1 with the companion album to his concert documentary "This Is It." A repackaging of Jackson's classics along with some new bonus material, the "This Is It" album sold 373,000 copies for the #1 spot. It's his first #1 on the chart since 2001's "Invincible" and his highest sales tally since "HIStory" sold 391,000 copies in 1995.
