If Perez Hilton is looking for pity in his latest fight with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, he will be sorely disappointed. It's not anywhere online. Hilton first claimed that will.i.am and his security attacked him outside the SoHo Hotel in Toronto, Canada after the MuchMusic Awards on Sunday. Will.i.am denied the allegation, saying it was Perez who hurled antigay slur "f**got" at him during their heated exchange. Perez later admitted in a video blog that it was the group's tour manager Polo Molina that hit him. Online comments have not been kind to Hilton. Many even said that he deserved being punched after insulting numerous celebrities on his blog. The celebrity blogger alleges that he was with Lady GaGa during the incident, but the "Poker Face" hitmaker doesn't seem inclined to mention the controversy, leaving Perez all alone to defend himself. A footage obtained by TMZ shows Perez and will.i.am's encounter, wherein Perez can be heard calling the BEP frontman the hated gay insult. Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) also denounced openly gay Perez's use of the slur. Other celebrities also weighed in on the incident. Kelly Clarkson said in an interview found in The Gossip Kid website that while she does not condone violence, Perez had it coming. She said that the blogger is not even nice to kid celebrities, so he must know that no one is going to pity him. Clarkson said, "I do not think violence is the answer, but what do you expect?" "I'm surprised it [the punching] hasn't happened already." John Mayer, who Perez has been clashing with ever since, engaged in a lively discussion of the event with him about the incident. The recording artist apparently wanted to point out that Perez is just human, but Perez wasn't up to admitting his own mortality just yet. Perez twitted to Mayer: "I'm not human! I'm a monster! Good night, John Mayer." To which Mayer replied: "Good night Perez, you dumb s**t." Hilton, after his teary tirade response on his website, seems to have directed some of his anger to Kirstie Alley for unknown reason. He told the actress, also via Twitter, "I'm 31 years old. You're 58. But it seems like you have the mental maturity of a 13 year old. Way to go!" It's not surprising that Perez still has the energy to bash people even after his own ordeal. However, if he keeps this up, and it's very likely that he will, he will lose the small amount of support he has left. And although publicity of any kind is good to keep up his celebrity-bashing website, this might be just the last straw his followers have been waiting for before they decide he should disappear online for good. |
