Poppy Montgomery Not Eager To Tie The Knot

Actress Poppy Montgomery seems to have it all. A hit TV show, a happy relationship with actor Adam Kaufman and a new baby. Adding a marriage to that mix isn't important for the actress.

The CBS star of "Without A Trace," gave birth to son Jackson Phillip in December and said the only thing that would sway the actress to make it official would be if it became an issue for Adam or Jackson.

The actress told USA Today that it never really occurred to her to make it official. She said her focus was on having a happy, loving environment. "I feel like as long as we're committed to each other and we have a happy home, we have a marriage - just not the piece of paper."

Montgomery, 32, said her own parents never married, but her mother did tie the knot with her stepfather when her younger half-sister asked if they would make it official.

Montgomery said, "Sometimes it's really important for kids that their parents are married."
