Britain's Prince Harry downed beer through a hosepipe during a drunken holiday in Mauritius. The royal, 24, enjoyed drinking games with his pals on the island last weekend and seemed to have no problem with quickly polishing off the alcohol. A source said: "Harry and his friends were having a great time. They were daring each other to down drinks through the pipe." "Harry didn't go first but it looked like he was one of the more experienced drinkers." "He looked like a man on a mission to enjoy a few pints." Harry - who is renowned for his hard-partying lifestyle - recently vowed he would quit drinking alcohol in 2009 in order to concentrate on becoming a helicopter pilot. The source added: "If he has a dry year, who can blame him for knocking them back here?" A source at Harry's Army Air Corps base insisted giving up alcohol was mandatory for the training. He said: "Harry is aware the real work starts here. If he wants to make the grade as a pilot he must make sacrifices." "Helicopters and alcohol don't mix, so one of the first things he will have to do is give up the beers." |
