Extreme Couponing Renewed for Second Seasons

LA, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - The almost two million viewers of TLC's Extreme Couponing will be happy to learn that the show has just been renewed for a second season. The show features smart shoppers who throw themselves into finding deals and coupons that in turn save them hundreds of dollars at a time.

TLC's GM Amy Winter explains why the show is such a hit with viewers. "Extreme Couponing has struck a chord with our viewers and has sparked a passion in people who are looking for creative ways to save money," says Winter. "The series is creating even more super shoppers and we are lining our shelves with their remarkable stories."

The upcoming season will feature 12 episodes and will premiere in September. The current season has two episodes left, airing June 8 and June 16.

In the June 8th episode, viewers meet Joni, the mother of a family of nine. Joni shows her bargain-finding skills when she spends only $100 on $3,100 worth of groceries.

The final episode on June 16 features Scott. Scott and wife Amy are expecting, so Scott prepares for a final shopping trip before the arrival of the baby.
