Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Will Smith and son Jaden are teaming up for another big-screen flick. This time, it's for a new science-fiction adventure Big Willie style.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is set 1,000 years into the future. Jaden plays a boy trying to survive in an abandoned planet after his spaceship crashes. Will will play his father on the big-screen as well.

Director is M. Night Shyamalan, who recently directed "The Last Airbender" but is better known for his successes such as "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs."

"The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project," Shyamalan said in a statement.

The currently untitled film has been in the works since last year, even being known as "One Thousand A.E." at one point.

Jaden and Will have teamed up before. They both starred in 2006's "The Pursuit of Happyness" and dad Will produced Jaden's 2010 box-office hit "The Karate Kid" with wife Jada.
