The "Inglourious Basterds" star was said to have declined an invitation to the Grand Prix Ball Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on October 31. His guest appearance would have been worth million.

However, instead of collecting the staggering amount, he chose to stay in Los Angeles and go trick-or-treating with his children - Maddox (8), Pax (5), Zahara (4), and Shiloh (3) - with partner Angelina Jolie on the same day. He dressed as DJ Lance Rock from the Nick Jr. kids' show "Yo Gabba Gabba!"

British soccer star David Beckham is set to spend his Thanksgiving with the U.S. troops. The Los Angeles Galaxy player and his teammates are to undertake a four-day visit to Kaiserslautern, South West Germany to show support for the army in Afghanistan.

Beckham will stay in army barracks, where he and the sports team will meet troops and their families and visit injured soldiers at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

Then on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, they will play against Kaiserlautern FC. Around 25,000 tickets have been made available to the troops, the Defense Department staff, and their families.

Though American fans are delighted with his support, there are some who criticized him for visiting the U.S. troops instead of the British soldiers.

Amy Winehouse has been taken to the hospital yet again, but this time, it's apparently because of a leaked boob job. The "Rehab" songstress' father Mitch has hinted that his daughter recently went to a hospital after having problem with her enhanced breasts.

He said on his "Mitch Winehouse's Showbiz Rant" show while pointing to his chest, "I can't say why she went into hospital, but it wasn't because she had a cold. She's fine, she just had a little leaky something or other."

Eric Dane is the latest cast member added to "Burlesque," the musical drama starring Christina Aguilera and Cher. The "Grey's Anatomy" star rounds out an already star-studded cast which also includes Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell, Alan Cumming, and "Twilight" star Cam Gigandet.

"Burlesque" is the story of a young girl with a big voice, Ali (Aguilera), who joins a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club. Dane plays a businessman who offers to buy the club from it's former dancer owner Tess, played by Cher.

The film is from director/writer Steve Antin, brother of Robin Antin, who developed the originally neo-burlesque troupe the Pussycat Dolls. He also developed the two Dolls-related reality shows, "Girlicious" and "The Search for the Next Doll."

Filming for "Burlesque" already kicked off last week in Los Angeles. It's the first role for Aguilera in a film. The film hits theaters in 2010.

Filmmaker Brett Ratner will be adapting the Bollywood blockbuster "Kites" into a Western film. The "Rush Hour" director is reportedly "editing" an English version of the Asian film.

Ratner, whose credits include "The Family Man," "Red Dragon," and "X-Men: The Last Stand," is said to be working on an international English version of the Bollywood film by Anurag Basu.

The domestic version has already been completed and will be released in January, while the international version is still being formatted.

The move is being welcomed by acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who said this might result in the world coming closer.

A renowned filmmaker will return to the roots that made him famous.

Hong Kong movie-maker John Woo's 2008 film "Red Cliff" will be making its American theatrical debut on November 20, but HDNet will give viewers a chance to watch it before it hits theaters. HDNet Movies will offer a sneak preview of the movie at 8 p.m. ET on November 18. Encore showings will follow at 10:30 p.m. that night and at 1 a.m. on November 19.

The movie is a historical epic following the Han Dynasty and the military exploits surrounding the reign in 208 A.D., toward the end of the era. General Cao Cao (Zhang Fengyi) is eager to destroy warlords he sees as a threat to the empire, but with the help of a legendary war hero (Tony Leung) these rebels will take on Cao Cao's much larger troops. The movie also stars You Yong, Chang Chen and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

"Red Cliff" has received accolades from numerous film critics, including Leonard Maltin, who described it as "breathtaking," and Ian Rafferty of The New York Times, whose assessment was that the film was "a grand-scale war movie."

The "March of the Penguins" Limited Edition gift set is currently available on DVD.

British songstress Leona Lewis has been tapped to sing the theme song for James Cameron's much-hyped sci-fi film "Avatar." The "X Factor" champ has recorded "I See You" for the closing credit of the movie.

Lewis, 24, worked with producers James Horner and Simon Franglen, who both produced the "Titanic" hit track "My Heart Will Go On."

The Kevin Smith Collection, released today, is a box set containing three of the filmmaker's best-loved movies: "Clerks," "Chasing Amy" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back." The collection contains all new features for the films, in addition to the transfer of the content to a high definition digital format.

"Clerks," Smith's first foray into the film world, follows a day in the life of New Jersey convenience store worker Dante (Brian O'Halloran) and his foul-mouthed best friend, Randal (Jeff Anderson), a video rental clerk. The low budget, black and white 1994 feature became a hit at film festivals such as Cannes and Sundance, launching the careers of writer/director Smith and producer Scott Mosier and inspiring a later animated series and a 2006 sequel. Among the special features are an all new introduction by Smith; the notorious "Lost Scene"; and Smith and Mosier's film school short, "Mae Day: The Crumbling of a Documentary."

"Chasing Amy" marked Smith's venture into dramatic territory with a love story between comic book artist Holden (Ben Affleck) and fellow comic personality Alyssa (Joey Lauren Adams). The only problem that faces them: She's a lesbian. The special features for the 1997 movie include "Tracing Amy: The 'Chasing Amy' Doc," the featurette "Was It Something I Said?" and the 10th anniversary question and answer feature with Smith and the cast.

Apocalyptic film "2012" makes 2009 its year at the box office. The Sony Pictures sci-fi film garnered million at the box office during its opening weekend, and marched past 5 million for its first five days in the big screen.

The Roland Emmerich film - starring John Cusack and Amanda Peet - marks Sony's #1 North American film for this year. It grossed .6 million on its opening day Friday in the U.S. and 0 million in international receipts from Wednesday through Sunday.

Jim Carrey's "A Christmas Carol" is still holding fairly well in its second week. It grosses another .3 million at the big screen, down 26 percent from its debut.

Also, Michael Jackson's "This Is It" grossed another .1 million, now boasting 2 million in its haul.

Michael Moore's latest movie, "Capitalism: A Love Story," hasn't been such a love story with moviegoers. While reviews were mostly positive (scoring 75% on Rotten Tomatoes), the movie is Moore's lowest-grossing documentary since 1998's "The Big One."

"Capitalism: A Love Story" has earned only million in seven weeks. By comparison, his biggest hit "Fahrenheit 9/11" grossed 9 million at the U.S. box office. It's also his lowest grossing film since 1998's "The Big One," about corporate America.

Moore's last film, 2007's "Sicko," the timely expose about the state of the U.S. health-care system, grossed over million. But it's not all bad news for "Capitalism: A Love Story." It's still the eighth highest-grossing documentary at the U.S. box office. Moore has four entries in the top 10.

"New Moon" has dominated the advance ticket sales list. Movie ticket seller company Fandango says that the "Twilight" sequel has already toppled previous record-holders to the top-selling pre-release title in its history.

The film, based on Stephenie Meyer's novel of the same name, strikes down "Dark Knight," "Harry Potter" and "Star Wars," becoming the #1 advance ticket-seller in Fandango history.

It is currently chunking down 86 percent of weekly ticket sales on Fandango; thousands of November 20 midnight showing schedules are already sold out across the country.

Lauren Bacall has been given an honorary Oscar. The legendary actress accepted the honor this weekend, four months before the full ceremony takes place.

Tom Cruise wants Katie Holmes to play a villain in the next "Mission: Impossible" movie. The actor - who stars as spy Ethan Hunt in the action franchise - is desperate to work with his wife and believes an evil part for her in the fourth film would be perfect because he doesn't want them to play a couple on screen.

A source said: "Tom is very excited about taking 'Mission: Impossible' in a new direction and he sees Katie as a big part of that."

"They have wanted to work together for a while now but the idea of being a couple on screen in a romantic comedy is a bit dull. This might give them a chance to have some fun both as a couple and as hero and villainess."

Camilla Dallerup, the former "Strictly Come Dancing" dancer, has left the Australian jungle after just a few days. Camilla has been said to be struggling with the lack of food and sleep, so much so that she said she was too exhausted to even find the energy to shower.

The 35-year-old dancer left the jungle overnight after just spending a couple of days in the Australian outback. She said; "I've got the highest metabolism of anyone I know. I feel useless being here so tired. You can't help anyone. It's not eating. Heat, I can deal with,"

A spokesman for ITV has said that the former boxer Joe Bugner would be replacing the dancer in the jungle. The show's series producer, Martin Benson, told "GMTV" on Wednesday of his worries about the dancer; "I'm very scared about Camilla, she had a meltdown the other night and she's not been eating that well - the whole camp is worried about her."

Mr Benson added that for someone to decide to leave the show was "way too early" and he had been trying to convince Camilla Dallerup to stay. "What I do is call her up to the Bush Telegraph and tell her to calm down, to drink some water, to eat some food and to get a good night's sleep and reassess the situation the next day," he said, "I make sure the medics watch her at all times."

Journalist Dan Rather is returning to Afghanistan in a new HDNet special. The news anchor will be reporting from the frontlines of the battlefield in the country for the upcoming "Dan Rather Reports" episode.

Rather will be updating his Twitter followers with the happenings in the eastern region of the country, where some of the heaviest casualties have been reported.

He will spend a week touring the region and speaking with local U.S. military commanders about their views on sending more troops.

Videos from his trip will air on the upcoming episode of his show. The specific date of airing is still not known.

"The Singing Bee" returns for its second season on CMT on Friday, January 15th at 9pm ET/PT. The show, which tests the lyrical knowledge of the contestants, is hosted by Melissa Peterman and starts a new weekly one hour slot come the New Year.

Combining karaoke singing with a spelling bee style format, the show blends a mixture of country music with other well known songs to test the contestant's knowledge of lyrics. If any of the six contestants get the words incorrect, they get eliminated from the competition. The last season of the show was CMT's highest rated series of the year.

The host Melissa Peterman is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and has appeared in shows such as "Rita Rocks" and "Just Shoot Me" and has done voiceovers for "The Pitts" and "American Dad." As well as this, she has opened for Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson on their "2 Worlds, 2 Voices" Tour. Not only is she a highly entertaining woman, she is committed to several charities including Muhammad Ali's "Celebrity Fight Night," Habitat for Humanity, The Red Cross, and the non-profit Buzzworks Theatre Company.

The Queen of Talk may face a significant pay cut if she decides to continue doing her eponymous talk show after her CBS deal expires in 2011.

According to Variety, local networks are not willing to pay as much for the right to air the aging show after its 2011 deal. Her "The Oprah Winfrey Show" has been on air since 1986.

Stations are hesitant to pay Harpo license fees, so they might offer a reduced fee for the airing. Her declining ratings are becoming a problem as well.

Winfrey has said she is still waiting until the end of the year to decide whether she will sign a new contract for the show. But if the TV billionaire does decide to continue, she might experience a huge pay cut.

Holland's Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and his wife Princess Maxima marked the 400th anniversary of explorer Henry Hudson's arrival in Manhattan Tuesday.

The royal couple followed Henry's historic journey up the Hudson river in a helicopter before meeting dignitaries - including U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton - to celebrate their country's long friendship with America.

They also watched a fleet of ships, including a scale replica of Henry's Half Moon, sail past New York City while a Dutch ship gave a 21-gun salute.

In a speech, Willem-Alexander said: "Princess Maxima and I are overwhelmed with this tremendous welcoming to New York. It is wonderful to still be able to see the Dutch influences across the city, from transportation and art to music and food."

Michael Jackson is set to be the subject of Academy Award-winning record producer A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory. The "Slumdog Millionaire" composer himself will reportedly give the inaugural lecture on the pop legend.

The KM Music Conservatory in the Kodambakkam area of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India was founded by Rahman, aiming to expand the horizon of musicians in his home country by offering education in both Indian and Western music besides music technology.

Rahman reportedly chose Jackson as the subject of his lecture as he loved the late singer's music.

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has lauded Rahman for his effort in creating a bridge between the music of east and west and for strengthening the worldwide market of Indian music.

Grammy Award-winning producer/artist Timbaland has announced the release of his third solo album, "Timbaland Presents Shock Value II," on December 8.

Rapper superstar 50 Cent is suing a hip-hop website for using his image without permission. The "In Da Club" hitmaker has filed a lawsuit against WorldStarHipHop.com for allegedly using his pictures on its homepage.

The hip-hop star, real name Curtis Jackson, told Atlanta's V103 radio station in an interview that he filed a suit against the website for copyright infringement.

He said, "A lot of people feel like that was my site coz they see my face on the cover."

"But Q (WSHH founder), you see, you should really be nice to me. Because you're not nice to me, I'm not nice. I have lawyers on retainers and I have to pay them so much money anyway, so we'll go back and forth to court until [they] can't afford a subway sandwich."
