ABC announces the debut of their ratings-hit series "Grey's Anatomy" on the web. ABC.com streamed the first webisode of the show Thursday, following the airing of the latest episode of the TV medical drama.
"Grey's Anatomy" stars will be excited to learn that the complete sixth season is available on DVD on Tuesday, September 14. The sixth season has some of TV's hottest doctors (Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Eric Dane and Justin Chambers, and newcomer, Kim Raver, from "24" fame) face some of the most important moments in their lives: more competition with more doctors, and of course, more drama.

Katherine Heigl has finally officially confirmed what we all have pretty much known for weeks, that she is leaving her role as Izzie Stevens in "Grey's Anatomy." Heigl claims that she's leaving the show to concentrate on her newly adopted daughter, Naleigh.
Heigl has had a troubled past with the show, infuriating producers and writers in 2008 when she refused to enter her name for an Emmy because she said that the material she was given was not good enough. Rumors began to fly that Heigl wanted out of her contract and the rumors have continued since.
The actress appeared last on the show in January and has since been on a break. She has appeared in several films outside of the show, including "The Ugly Truth" in 2009 and have several projects in the works.
Heigl told Entertainment Weekly, "I am done. We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It's sad but it's what I wanted. I know I'm disappointing the fans. I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one."
Katherine Heigl is leaving "Grey's Anatomy." The 31-year-old actress, who plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on the ABC medical series, has reportedly been released from her contract after a long hiatus from the show.
Fans of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" can now check out a new web series offering some new perspectives on the happenings at Seattle Grace. "Seattle Grace: On Call" will feature many of the familiar faces found on the hit series.
Katherine Heigl is taking another leave of absence from "Grey's Anatomy." After taking a three-episode absence from the show, the 30-year-old actress will be taking another time off.
While "Grey's Anatomy" has sent shock waves throughout its followers with its latest plot-twisting and cast-shifting, its likely you've heard more about the behind-the-scenes stuff, or at least some things that were meant to be. With star Katherine Heigl's very public criticism of the show's production, T.R. Knight's much talked about contract release, and now even Eric Dane's little homemade videotape, it's hard to remember that behind the news bytes is one of television's most successful award-winning shows.
ABC scored a big hit with their English language translation of telenovela "Yo Soy Betty, La Fea," "Ugly Betty." Now the writer of the original "Ugly Betty" is taking McDreamy to spanish audiences. "Grey's Anatomy" is becoming a spanish soap opera.
Katherine Heigl's return to "Grey's Anatomy" wasn't exactly a welcoming thought for her. The 30-year-old actress revealed on David Letterman's late night show that ABC forced them to work 17 hours on the set.
