'America's Got Talent' host says absence from family 'hardest thing I've had to do'

Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon says filming the show on the road less than two months after the birth of his twin babies is "probably one of the hardest things I've had to do."

Cannon, who has hosted three of the show's six seasons, admitted to reporters during a phone interview Monday that while hosting the show can be fun, staying away from his family can be very difficult.

"We haven't done the live shows, but even - I mean I've still been on the road and the Vegas shows and everything, and it's quite difficult," he said. "I mean, it's probably one of the hardest things I had to do and I didn't even really think about how difficult that was going to be, because I have - my life has always been, you know, kind of on the road and going."

Tosh.0 gets picked up by Comedy Central for fourth season

The highest priced home in the country, the $150-million dollar Spelling mansion, appears to be off the market. The new owner is reported to be 22-year-old Petra Ecclestone, daughter of the founder of Formula One racing.

The iconic mansion simply known as The Manor, located in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles, is a 56,500 square foot limestone-clad monolith. According to the Wall Street Journal, Ecclestone is planning on splitting her time between London and Los Angeles following her upcoming wedding to entrepreneur James Stunt.

Reportedly, Candy Spelling, widow of television producer Aaron Spelling, remained firm on her $150 million price tag she placed on the property in 2008 even through the economic downturn. However, the actual sales price has not been disclosed.

MTV officially cancels controversial "Skins"

The Parents Television Council called the show "the most dangerous television show for children that we have ever seen," claiming it not only starred young, underage teens but was targeted to them as well. They even called on the Department of Justice to file child pornography charges.

Based on the British drama of the same name, the controversy surrounding the show even caused companies like Taco Bell and GM to pull their advertising.
